The sun is setting on a December evening, and your church glows with candlelight. The doors are open, and visitors step inside — some for the first time — drawn by the warmth and welcome of the season. They pause to take in your sanctuary, to experience the peace and beauty of your church.
This could be your church.
The only requirement is to open your doors on Saturday, December 13 from 3–7 PM and allow visitors to enter your building to view your sanctuary. Everything else is up to you — whether that means offering music, decorations, refreshments, or simply a friendly welcome. Every church adds something special to this countywide celebration.
How to Participate
It’s simple:
Commit to opening your church on Saturday, December 13, from 3–7 PM.
Complete the Sacred Spaces of the Season Church Registration Form by December 03, 2025.
Optional: Add decorations, music, programs, or hospitality in any way that works for your congregation.
Participation is free!
How We Help You Shine
We will take care of marketing so you can focus on welcoming visitors. We’ll add your church to a shared Google map of all participating churches so visitors can easily find you. We will promote the event on Facebook and create digital flyers your church can share to invite your congregation and the community. This way, your church will be part of a beautifully coordinated, countywide celebration — without the stress of doing all the promotion yourself.
